Lamar & Sue Tillman
August 28th, 2009, Lamar and Sue Tillman purchased Global Gospel Radio from Shirley Hale. Since Bill died more than a year and a half before, Shirley wanted Global Gospel Radio to continue, and the Tillmans were anxious to have the station continue “streaming” the message of Christ around the world.
It is the intentions of the Tillmans to broadcast from midnight to 7 A.M. in at least 14 different languages. We are currently networking to get “speakers” who can provide us with cds, DVDs, or cassette tapes. We can broadcast a 30-minute program in any foreign language for $10.00. We feel this is very important in getting the message of Christ wherever people have access to the Internet.
The beauty of all this is that any church in the world can put a program on this station and it is as close as if you were in the church itself. By simply advertising your link with globalgospelradio.com, we can reach out to the world.
Lamar and Sue have spent the last 56 years in spreading the good news of Christ. Neither have ever seen the opportunity presented that is available to us through Global Gospel Radio.
In a day when it seems you must spend thousands on a single broadcast, we can do it for just a “few” dollars. Daytime rates are a bit higher, but just enough to cover our costs.
Lamar is the Program Director for Global Gospel Radio and maybe contacted through the station number (336)-983-2500 or by cell phone (336)-830-9854 or by e-mailing globalgospelradioNC@gmail.com
We solicit your prayers for this gigantic mission.
All because of Calvary,
Lamar and Sue Tillman
Len & Carissa Tillman
Len Tillman graduated with a degree in Media Communications from Johnson Bible College in May of 2009. Len is the Station Manager and Engineer for Global Gospel Radio. Len’s knowledge of computers, programming, and lighting lends itself to quality broadcasting.
Carissa Tillman is a former student of Johnson Bible College, having completed one year there. She is currently working on a degree in music, where she will be able to record music, teach piano and guitar, and even writing music herself. Carissa brings her talents of computers, bookkeeping, and secretarial skills and often aids in operating Global Gospel Radio’s equipment.
Len and Carissa got married July 10, 2009, and have been working hard on running Global Gospel Radio and since the end of August.
These two young people have a bright future in broadcasting and one day expect to own and operate Global Gospel Radio as it continues to reach out to a lost world with the message of the Gospel. Len and Carissa will become part owners of Global Gospel Radio at the end of their first year with the station.
